01 · Live Suite

The Filter Suite, recreated.

Reddit’s six-filter ML-powered moderator suite (2021–2026), interactive in vanilla HTML/CSS/JS. The production system shipped to 100,000+ communities; this version is a public-safe artifact you can actually click through.

Each filter: working settings, functional toggles, dropdowns, tag inputs, FAQ accordions, and a live test-the-filter simulation. Interaction patterns, copy, and UX flows match what shipped in the Reddit mobile and web apps.

03 · Case Studies in Progress

Four case studies. In progress.

Six years of Trust & Safety design at Reddit doesn’t fit in a launch banner. Full case studies are being written and will land here through Q2 2026:

  • 01
    Moderator Filter Suite

Reddit’s six-filter ML-powered moderator safety suite, including Reddit’s first LLM-powered moderation tool (Harassment Filter, Q1 2024). Deployed across 100,000+ active communities. Live prototype above ↑

  • 02
    Platform-Wide Blocking

Redesign from one-sided mute to mutual blocking, shipped to hundreds of millions of users. Designed the moderator carve-out that preserved admin function while preventing surveillance abuse. Covered by Engadget and Adweek.

  • 03
    Reporting & Content Lifecycle

End-to-end redesign of the reporting UX and content lifecycle across iOS, Android, mobile web, and desktop. The user-facing path feeding 6.2M+ account actions per year.

  • 04
    Internal Operator Tooling

Enforcement features on Reddit’s internal admin actioning tool used by Trust & Safety agents for reports, escalations, and appeals. Behind 99,492 hateful-content suspensions (Q3 2023) and 828 Moderator Code of Conduct investigations at 98% actionability (H2 2024).
